He tried his hand at Hollywood in the 1960s.Ī prolific television actor, he received a Golden Globe nomination for his work on the 1980s sitcom “Flo,” a spinoff of “Alice,” and also appeared in series such as “Bonanza,” “Gunsmoke,” “Mission: Impossible,” “Mork & Mindy,” “Lou Grant,” “Magnum, P.I.,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “The X-Files” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” He took acting classes at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City and performed off-Broadway and at regional theaters in Massachusetts. “Whenever I’d tell people about him, they might not know his name, but as soon as they saw his face, they’d go, ‘Oh, that guy!’ ”īorn July 31, 1935, in Plainfield, N.J., Lewis spent much of his youth in Wrightwood, Calif., where he became an avid skier. “He was always interested in the character parts,” she said. She said her father did not aspire to conventional stardom. “He didn’t care if all the kids rolled their eyes.” INDIEGOGO IS A SCAM.“He never stopped,” said his daughter Deirdre Lewis, a writer. You will get scammed out of good money and the platform and its support team will do NOTHING to help. Well, Indiegogo - I will happily join in ANY class action against your platform. If you're thinking of investing in a project - DON'T. Then - fun - my ability to comment on the site was blocked because I dared voice my opinion loudly. Complaints that Indiegogo would do nothing. Complaints that ArVizon Inc stopped responding to emails demanding answers. Complaints that no product had ever been received. Since "shipping" - there have been nothing but comments asking when the product would be delivered. Thank you very much for the butt pounding. Then - when it came time to ship - they graciously informed us that they shipped the products - WITHOUT TRACKING. They sent us pictures that were nothing but fakes. ArVizon Inc provided updates filled with bull. then, miraculously, there was some movement. After backing we (the backers) were treated to numerous updates filled with excuse after excuse why the project was delayed. I backed the VEZO 360 - The First 4K 360 Degree Smart Dash Cam project. Indiegogo is nothing but a platform for scammers. Now I would expect a bot generated response, most likely from a hologram called Jeff explaining me a fairy tale of some sorts I learnt it the hard way, I hope peòple dont lose their hard earned money. I am sorry for the original and legit entrepreneurs who need to raise money, but as a backer you are completely unprotected, shall I have known this, I would have ever backed any project in Indieegogo. Indiegogo in return to that communication did nothing, well it kept the campaign open so another couple of dozens of people could lose or not lose their money (irony mode ON) while Indiegogo made its commissions, totally amoral. To prove my point I contacted the OEM, with images and bit of time some of the backers managed to get the reality behind the product to understand that even the OEM in China raised enough docs and suspicions to Indiegogo, the chain of emails would put me as a smallowner in a court, but as couple of lawyers told me, going after Indiegogo in an European court would be futile and wasteless. IG has not sense of responsibility, no accountability and even if in the description was advertised 100% warranted delivery, they would advertise anything to make their commissions. A paramount fraud who has had around 200 people cheated. I backed an Ebike called LUUPX, a 3,000 $ item. Even in the event Indiegogo might have proof is running a scam, they would still run it
